A Musical Showcase of Fashion opens the PT Film Festival!

The Wandering Wardobe leads off the Film Festival with a spectacular and glamourous fashion show. A Musical Showcase of Fashion hit the top of the charts. Beverly Michaelsen and Gail Lipko, owners of the Wandering Wardobe, created a marvelous production for film festival pass holders. Twentyfour models displayed this charming consinment storešs unique apparel and accessories, while Jane Champion, of Champion Video Productions, and her audacious crew filmed the event. Misha Fradin and Tomoki Sage stunned the audience with a entertaining juggelling act before the show. From the first breathtaking moment to the final farewell, elegant, vintage and festive fashions graced the stage. The audience had no idea what was in store for them after the intermision, during which Liara Copley and Kim Hunt sang accompanied by David Michael playing the guitar. The outragous second half of the music performance started up with Full Monty. All the guys looking handsome as they walked to the stage with a cool stride. They dropped their suspenders, twirled their ties over their heads and riped off their shirts to the crowded Taylor Street audience. Kneeling in front of the stage they watched the wild and energetic ladies do the can-can to Moulan Rouge. The girls wore flashy, loud and extravagant costumes that made a radiant finish. As the gals came to bid farwell, their lushish partners took their hand to wisk them away through the crowd. A standing applause for the exquisite showcase which featured Port Townsend High School students- Kaiya Hubbard, Jennifer Sistek, Tomoki Sage, Misha Fradin, Tom Gibson, Elyse Hicks, and Yuri Tolpin among those modeling and John Barlow behind the camera.
